Where are Future Smiles' Calgary denture clinics?
Future Smiles has two Calgary denture clinics. Our NE clinic is at 23 Coral Springs Blvd NE, Calgary, AB T3J 4J1. Our SW clinic and denture laboratory are in the Centre 70 Building, 7015 Macleod Trail SW, Suite 113, Calgary, AB T2H 2K6. Both clinics can be reached at 403-475-0016.
Who is the denturist at Future Smiles?
Future Smiles is led by Vadim “Vlad” Dumbrava, a denturist who has worked in denture therapy since 2008 and trained at George Brown College. He combines hands-on denture fabrication in our in-house lab with careful attention to each patient's comfort, function and appearance.
Are denture consultations free?
Yes. Future Smiles offers free denture consultations at both Calgary clinics. Your first visit is a conversation about what is bothering you, what you want to change and which denture options suit your mouth, budget and coverage. There is no obligation to proceed.
Can I get my denture repaired the same day?
Same-day denture repair may be available, depending on the type of damage and when the denture can be assessed. Because our dentures are fabricated in our own Calgary lab, many repairs can be handled locally. Call 403-475-0016 as early in the day as possible so the team can advise you.
Does Future Smiles accept CDCP, NIHB and AISH?
Yes. Future Smiles accepts the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), NIHB, AISH and all major dental insurance plans, and offers direct billing where available. If coverage does not pay the full amount, eligible patients can apply for Medicard financing for all or part of the remaining cost.
What are your clinic hours?
The Coral Springs NE clinic is open Monday to Friday 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday 10 am to 2 pm. The Macleod Trail SW clinic is open Monday to Friday 10 am to 6 pm. Both clinics are closed Sunday. Call ahead for repair availability and appointment times.
Do I need a referral to see a denturist?
No. You can contact Future Smiles directly to book a free denture consultation. If your situation requires coordination with a dentist or another oral health provider, the team will discuss that with you.
What if my dentures are loose but not broken?
Loose dentures do not always mean you need a completely new denture. Depending on your mouth and the condition of the denture, an adjustment, reline, rebase or replacement may be discussed after assessment.
Does Future Smiles offer denture try-in appointments?
For eligible denture cases, Future Smiles offers a try-in appointment before final processing. You can review the proposed appearance, tooth setup and bite, and discuss changes with your denturist before the denture is finalized.
Does Future Smiles professionally clean dentures?
Yes. Future Smiles offers professional denture cleanings to help remove stubborn staining, buildup and odours and refresh your dentures. Ask the clinic about availability and whether cleaning is appropriate for your denture.
