From concern to outcome.
The concern
This patient came in with an old set of partial dentures that had worn down over time.
The cause
The worn dentures were causing uneven pressure on her natural teeth and disrupting the alignment and position of the dentures.
What we did
She was fitted with new partial upper and lower dentures, made so that teeth can easily be added to the denture if she ever needs further extractions.
The outcome
The new dentures enhanced her smile, reduced unnecessary pressure and improved her ability to chew.

Upper and lower partial dentures questions
How long do partial dentures take to make?
Most partial dentures take several appointments over a few weeks, including impressions, bite records, a try-in for eligible cases and delivery. Future Smiles makes them in our in-house Calgary lab.
Will a new partial protect my natural teeth?
A well-fitting partial with a balanced bite spreads chewing forces across your gums and remaining teeth, reducing uneven pressure on natural teeth. Regular check-ups keep it fitting well.
