Back to biting into an apple with an implant bar denture.
Some of our proudest work is helping patients who feel they have few functional options because of severe tooth loss.

From concern to outcome.
The concern
After the loss of her teeth, this patient felt she had few functional options left.
The cause
At times, a more involved solution is needed to restore fit and function.
What we did
She received upper arch implants connected with a bar, and a bar-retained denture made to attach to it.
The outcome
The fit was greatly improved and she regained full function. She was very happy with her smile, and with being able to bite into an apple again.

Implant bar denture questions
What is a bar-retained implant denture?
A metal bar connects several dental implants, and the denture clips onto the bar. It is very stable and can be removed for cleaning.
Who places the implants?
Implants are placed by a dentist or oral surgeon. Future Smiles designs and makes the denture that attaches to them in our Calgary lab.
Can I see a denturist about a similar problem?
