Using the Canadian Dental Care Plan for dentures
- Check that you are enrolled. CDCP is a federal program for eligible Canadian residents without access to dental insurance. Eligibility and enrolment are managed by the Government of Canada; see Canada.ca for current details.
- Book a free consultation. Bring your CDCP member information so Future Smiles can review which denture services may be covered.
- Understand your co-payment. Depending on your adjusted family net income, CDCP may cover all or part of eligible costs, and some services may need pre-approval.
- Plan the remainder. If a portion is not covered, Medicard financing may help eligible patients pay over time.
Program rules can change. Future Smiles checks your coverage before treatment so there are no surprises. Last reviewed October 2026.
