A more intense denture solution is flipper dentures, which are clasped along the gums and can be visible when a patient is smiling. This patient had a flipper denture to replace three front upper teeth. Unfortunately for this client, the denture didn't have good retention (any-direction movement) or esthetics.
We created a flexible valplast denture that looked great and considerably reduced movement. One unexpected benefit the patient encountered was the recovery of taste buds, which had once been covered by dentures.
